T/C Bone Collector

Can some one advise me on the proper break in for the barrel.
heading out to the range today with my new 50 Cal bone collector.

  I wouldn't be losing any sleep worrying about breaking in a black powder, muzzle loaders barrel.

  It'll naturally break itself in as you clean the lead from the barrel each time[:D]

  Don't use any patroleum based products either as a lube or for cleaning.

  For any of the muzzle loaders, I take the barrel off if it is removable, and scrub it in the hottest soapy water I can find. Then while it is still hot, I sock the TC Bore Butter to it. Let the barrel cool, then run a dry patch thru it to get rid of te extra bore butter. The stuff you realy need will be retained in the pores of the bore.
  
  If you shoot sabots thru it, you will need some plastic solvent too, and to reseason the bore after every cleaning. I shoot Powerbelt AT's, and have switched recently to the Powerbelt Maglites. They are designed for two 50 grain pellet loads, but can handle 150 grains. I shoot a standard Triumph Weathershield, and a Encore Super 45.

  that was what I was looking for. Pretty much the same as my Hawken but a little different using sabots.
