REM-UMC No 12 ARROW

I have a shell casing stamped REM-UMC No 12 ARROW. Does anyone know when this cartridge was manufactured?

There is no way to tell the year of manufacture unless it is stamped on the base like most military ammo, eg LC 92 for Lake City 1992. The REM-UMC is Remington - Union Metalic Cartridge. I believe the 12ga arrow is something from the 30's or 40's but I could be wrong.
