Ruger - Single six - 22LR /.22 MAG ? Barrel Length
Well ..I am not sure of the barrel length of this gun. A premium is associated with a barrel length on 4.625" ( 4 5/8"). When I measure the barrel from the frame top strap it measures 4.625". This would be where the barrel mates to the frame looking at the top on the gun.
But I have always been told the barrel length is from the front of the cylinder (with the .22LR installed) it measures 5.375" (5 3/8") so what do I have here? The gun comes in two barrel lengths from the factory 5" and 4 5/8"....
Are Rugers measured from the cylinder face our from the frame top strap?
Thanks

On a 4&5/8 inch gun the ejector rod would be to the end of the barrel. I think these guns were made with a 5&1/2 inch barrel. Not 5 inch 0 -
Ejector Rod,front or rear ?...Thanks 0 -
The ejector rod would be flush with the end of the barrel on the 4 5/8" barrel, and like he said they were made with the 5 1/2" barrel too. 0
