S&W model 66

Could anyone tell me the date of manufacture on my S&W model 66 357 mag serial # CBE7044 ? Also when did they start making and quit making this revolver. Any info is appreciated. Terrill.

  Would like to hear any comments on this type of gun. Is 325 to high to low, just right? Dont know serial # but supposed to be in great shape. Thanks

  According to the S & W book it was made in 1996. The Model 66 was in production between 1970 and 2004.
