Must I be the only reply? OK. I expect to receive it this week. I will report on my impression. At least I got it back to page one.

DRP-AZ, I see an SBRd on GB. It is about $800. Not in my budgit. Looks like the folding stock works. What else is different?

I got it today. I fired a few shots just to see if it worked. It worked OK. Almost no recoil, but it will jump off target. The sights were near correct. I was disappointed that it had no bolt open lock. When I add a laser and sling I will be happy. Holding at waist level is the way to shoot it. The dealer that received it thought it was a class 5 gun when he opened the box. That is what is cool.

The folding stock can be restored, but you'd need to fill out and submit a Form 1 and pay the 200 bucks tax and have the form come back approved before you can shoot it.

Kommie sheetmetal gun with a bolt hold open? If you know of one which was designed and fielded in 1943, I'm all ears. The Commies aren't much on bolt hold opens.

DROP-AZ, The original was open bolt. When this was converted to semi-auto it got a closed bolt. It inly looks like the real PPS43. I will not change the stock. It is not worth the cost or the problems to me. A sling helps a lot. I have the laser so I only need to mount it. I thought the shield wrapped all the way around the barrel. It would then be easy. But it is open on the bottom. I will have about $400 total.
