Is this rifle just a "fun" gun, or would it serve well as a SHTF go-to. I like the compactness and the .308 caliber. Have plenty of AR's and like them, but would like something in .308. I like the fact that the RFB bullpup is more compact that the AR-10's. SBR is not an option in my state.

  There are a bunch of reviews on-line as well as at least one U Tube video. I personally think Kelgran shot himself in the foot with this one, (no pun intended). With the short barrel it has the balance and ergonomics of a blacksmiths anvil.
  
  Apparently many other folks have the same feelings about it. I have seen some of the on-line prices being discounted 25% lower then the supposed MSRP. If you just have to have one no problem getting it at a good price, because of this.
  
  You would be much happier with a AR in 308 with a 16" barrel IMHO. The muzzle blast would be ferocious even without the flashhider though.
