5 mm ?

Now that the 5mm rimfire ammo is being made again ,have any of the gun makers decided to chamber any rifles for it ?

  I have heard rumors that CZ is considering it. I think that would be awesom, especially with the new ammo, if loaded with a high efficiency bullet. It would do more than either the 22 WMR, or the 17 HMR.
  
  Actually, with their new 455 platform that has interchangable barrels, it would be a somple thing to make a barrel.

  In a nutshell, nobody is making a new 5mm rifle.
  
  CZ announced that it was going to put out a new 5mm rifle, but ultimately never did. The likelihood of it happening now is pretty small.

  You can get a 5mm Remington now - in fact, you may already have the rifle for it ..... [?]
