  Proof marks include the code KA.
  According to the chart at:

  A - 0
  B - 1
  C - 2
  D - 3
  E - 4
  F - 5
  G - 6
  H - 7
  J - 8
  K - 9
  
  KA = 1990

  With the German made SIG's this letter code on the lower front portion of the slide denotes date of manufacture.
  
  On their US manufactured pistols it's coded with the serial number.
