HELP I.D. SMALL, OLD AUTO HOLSTER

Another old, probably military, brown pebbled leather holster with no stampings or markings of any kind. Has two pouches on front for mags. Full flap completely enclosed the gun. Does anyone recognize what it's for, especially since it has the unusual CLOSED muzzle end, shown in bottom photo.

Condition is good, with all stitching very good. small 380 mag fits comfortably into pouches.

  It resembles the holsters used by the Swedes for their Model 1907 military pistol,(Model 1903 FN Browning made under license in Sweden).
  
  The Model 1907 isn't a small pistol though. Your description of the holster being small wouldn't be accurate.
  
  See if the 1907 Swede magazine you inquired about last week will fit into the magazine pouches?

  Thanks, Rufe. In my runny old eyes, if it won't accomodate a 1911A1, Browning HP, or Mauser Broomhandle, it's for a SMALL auto. Plus, I really doubt those mag pouches would handle the big fat calibers. [:)]
  
  Speaking of small autos, just won a tiny Menz Liliput Model 1927 in 4.25mm cheap 'cause it needs a bunch of work.
  
  And, yes that Swede mag does fit VERY tightly into the pouches. This is how I described that mag over on the auction side: "SWEDE MILITARY, also known as 1903 FN BROWNING, or HUSQVARNA 1907 in 9mm Browning long. Blued steel, length is 4". Normally retails around $25."
  
  By the way, you're ADMIN, correct? If so you can delete that posting about the mags. I've already deleted the pics.
  
  So, is it safe to offer this holster as being for the 1903 Browning, or Husqvarna 1907?

  Nice, unused uniform holster.
  I suspect it's police maybe for the Browning water pistol.
  If it were military it would probably be marked.
  Also Astra 300, Savage 380 or other 32-380 round muzzle autos having more vertical grip as suggested by mag pouch form.

  Sorry, 11b6r, got none left. Had two from first Liliput I found online a couple of years ago for under $100.
  
  Once this little guy gets some new parts made and a new repro set of grips on it, I'll be putting it up for sale as well.
  
  Saw a photo not long ago of a Liliput, original box, and a glass jar FULL of 4.25mm rounds that his grandpa left him. Wouldn't sell any of it...[:(!]
  
  I keep lookin' for more, at a reasonable price...

  VERY perceptive, V35, and I completely agree. I don't think along those lines since I DON'T collect military, just old .22rf single-shots.
  
  As for being police issue, makes sense 'cause most military I've seen was plainly marked, probably to make the Quartermaster's job a bit easier.
  
  And the shape at the muzzle would indicate the round slide type autos of .32 and .380.
  
  I do appreciate the tips. By the way, I assume the Browning "water pistol" alludes to their 1922???
