WesternField 12ga shotgun

I am currently working on a Westernfield bolt action 12 gauge shotgun that my boss got from his uncle. It is rusted all over. I can get everything apart except the bolt. Does anyone know of any manuals or schematics for this gun?

  Yes i have. I can't seem to find a schematic for the gun on there.

  If it has a model number, check the crossover lists to see if there is an underlying manufactures model. You might find a schematic for that model.
  
  Gunparts corp has a crossover list on their site.

  Thanks for the advice. I gave it a try and looked at the list. I couldn't find the info. The serial number is 25EKN 162A. If you can find anything please let me know. I will be calling them up sometime during the week.

  That is not the serial number. It IS the model number. And unless I miss my guess, the shotgun is a Kessler Model 30C. Never heard of Kessler? Probably because they wer only in business from 1951=53.
  
  At THAT time, serial numbers were not required by law on shotguns and rifles. That changed in 1968.
  
  Wish I could offer you some advice on bolt disassembly, but have not folled with one of these.
