G20 Conversion
I am buying a Glock G20 with additional barrels in 40S&W and 357Sig. I am under the impression that if I get a 45ACP slide and barrel assembly that I can also shoot 45ACP.
Any Glock G20's owners try this?
Thanks.

I got a G 20 10mm but never tried it with a G 21 upper, it was to expensive. To buy a G 21 upper was almost the cost of a new G 21.
To the best of my knowledge if you have a complete G 21 upper in .45 ACP, it will work on the G 20 frame. Don't know about the mags though? The .45 ACP cartridges are larger in diameter then 10 mm, not sure if they will function correctly through G 20 mags.0 -
Since the G20 & G21 use the same width frame I see no reason why a 21 slide will not work on the 20. The only issue I see is the ejector position in the frame, it may be different because of the different diameter between .45 and 10mm cases. 0 -
I ask because I noticed one site sells the full upper for around $320 and notes it fits on the G20 frame. It would be great to have a 5 caliber gun, 10mm, 40S&W, 357Sig, 45ACP, and 22LR. I have the first three already. 0 -

The 22 conversion unit made by Advantage Arms is way more practical and less expensive then a G 21 upper. I've had one for years, it's very reliable and a accurate shooter. It lets you get a lot of practice getting acclimated to the G 20's quirky trigger, without braking the bank buying 10mm ammo. You do have to use high velocity .22 ammo, ( CCI Mini-Mags), though as it won't function correctly with a lot of the inexpensive ammo that's sold as high velocity.0 -
