Has anyone had an issue with the cavalier scope mount on the rem. 11-87. I can't seem to get mind to group very well at 100 yds

  What type of barrel is the cantilever mount on? What scope and ammo are you using?

  12 gauge slugs vary as far as accuracy is concerned, even if your barrel is rifled. Due to substantial recoil there is also the possibility of either the rings loosening or even the scope malfunctioning. Make sure to the best of your ability that the scope is OK, and the mount and rings are fastened securely. Try a number of different slugs at 50 yards before going to 100.
