Which 1911 Magazine to buy?

I have a rock island 45 on the way, wanted to know what some good brands of 8 round magazines are. I hear Wilson Combat are good, any others that you all like?

  Not only is Wilson good, they are the best.

  Wilson are the ones to have. I have some that I have been using for about 18-20 yrs. Had one that cracked down the back, three that the pads broke off. Called Wilson,s and parts were replaced, no questions asked, no cost.

  Go with Wilson's, I have Novaks and they suck. I had 4 of them crack on the back of the ears and had to fight tooth and nail to get them replaced.[xx(]

  Tripp Cobramags are good.
  Plastic followers but with metal inserts to engage the slide stop.

  Great mags at probably the best price Mec Gar. Lot of good makers but these will be a lot cheaper.

  I use Chip McCormics in my RIA 1911, work great. Both the 8 rounder and 10 rounder. Factory mags for the RIA are Novak.

  Wilson or Shooting Star....Never had a problem with either...

  Will second on the Mec-Gar factory spec magazines and made in Italy.
