Says on the receiver "Terni" cal. 7.35 and 1939 XVII.
Appears to be Italian Carcano, not sure which model.
Would it sell for $90 on GB auctions ?

Italian Carcano type 38 short rifle, 7.35X51mm. Your example went to Finland.

If you sell give a thorough description of bore condition, serials, etc., as well as a ton of close up pics. I'd wager $140. That wood is really nice, it would go for $200 if the metal were in better shape.

The Carcano in its various forms is my favorite misaligned sleeper tackdriver. Except for miserable sights on pretty much all models, they group as well as any milsurp I've shot. I thought about using my twin to your rifle at camp perry in the vintage match, but the thing will shoot 12" high at 200 yards, or 10" low, depending which bullet I use- and a reduced load to get it in to the X ring doesn't hold a tight group.
