Ok expert Reloaders what Ratio would be safe?

Just Curious if it were done, the volume ashes as a filler, and what powder type? Thinking slow powder like 5744, trail boss, 2-5% ashes

  I never considered 5744 slow. I think is has the highest % of nitro glycerin for double base powders. Maybe ash out of shotgun loaded like rock salt. Down a bore? maybe in a wore/shot out one but where is the honnor in that.

  That's my "go to powder" for my 45-120-3.25 with a 350gr flat nose. I still have plenty of room.

  A friend had it in his will to put his ashes in his cannon and shoot them out at his wake [;)]
