Can anyone identify this 22 conversion barrel?
Was told this is some sort of 22 conversion barrel. His memory was that it fit in a 30 Carbine Ruger? pistol or such. It's total length is approx. 8 1/2" long. The insert with set screw on end looks to have two set points. Chamber end measures in diameter approx. 7/16" and about 1 1/4" long. No stamping or identifying marks. Thank you!!

Only .30 Carbine chambered Ruger I recall is the Blackhawk. Doesn't look like it would work in that one![:D] 0 -
Nobody ever see one of these??? 0 -
Number one, that would not fit into a revolver, unless it was a top break open type. Then it would have to be chambered for something like 357 magnum, as that is what the chamber of that approximates.
So, I am guessing that that is for a break open single shot 357 magnum, with a barrel about 8 inches long. Since the chamber is not offset, I would assume that it would be for a TC Contender with a dual firing pin system...or somethig similar.

Looks like a .410 chamber insert to me. 0
