Steel shot
I have a Western Field 12 gauge pump chambered for 3" magnum is it safe to use steel shot in it??? A visit to the local walMart found only steel in the larger shot sizes.

All modern shotguns can shoot steel shot. The only thing you need to make sure of is the markings on the barrel stating the size of shells the gun is intended to shoot, 2 3/4", 3" or 3 1/2". 0 -
Yes. Both will shoot steel shot. I like the SP-10 better. More weight, less recoil. Best 0
