DOM for a 1892 25-20 Winchester Rifle (Bert)

    Looks to be 1896 according to my book.

    Sorry, but it is not an "antique". The actual date of manufacture was March of 1899. It was received in the warehouse as a completely assembled 25/20 WCF rifle in August of 1899.

    For your info, Fjestad lists the 92' as an antique for a (Ser.# below 168,000 in his 13th edition Blue Book. Wish he would get it straight, quite a difference in price.

    The "antique" serial number cut-off for the Model 1892 is 103328... anything above that number is a "modern" firearms per federal regulations.
