I recently acquired a 37mm Hotchkiss Cannon round/shell made by Pouderies de Paris and was wondering if it has value? and if so, it's approx. worth? .. photos upon request

Before worrying about value, first thing to do make sure it's inert. 0 -
it looks like the nose fuse has been demilled 0 -
I have one like it. If the case is tapered and not polished and has a date on the bottom, like 1917, they usually sell for $50-$100.00
The nose fuse has 2 holes so that a tool can unscrew it, they are usually frozen in place.
Demilled it what way? Is the wood plug still intact on top?0 -
The Hotchkiss shell was made for the French Renault Tank and was used into WWII.
I have to go back to work, break over. Don't vaporize yourself.[:0]0 -
mine looks almost like this one, but mine has not been "tumbled"/polished like this one...my round is still crimped together the projectile is still crimped to the casing(is that the correct terminology?).. the fuze has the tip "hollowed" as this one shows I have basically the same headstamp but mine was manufactured 1-17 (Jan.1917)
