I have a steel frame 36 cal. resembling an 1851 navy.Serial # 9420. Any info would be grateful.sorry CVA is manuf.

  Most all of the modern Black Powder replica percussion revolvers are made in Italy. They have been imported and sold by many different companies, over the last 40 + years. Although they have been sold under many different names most have been made by only two or three companies in Italy. The only really valuable ones are the one assembled for Colt here in the States. These won't have Italian proof marks, or be marked "Made In Italy" or just "Italy".

  Actualy have no experience with their revolvers but the CVA rifles were well made for the price and were all good shooters. Not high dollar but good working guns. I would think the revolvers would be of similar quality. $100 to $150 gun if in good conditio in my opinion.
