  I prefer a chronograph that I am not shooting directly over the brains of it. Skyscreens are replacable.

  I have a Shooting Chrony, and love it. The proliferation of computer circuits/electronic sensors in today's world means you don't have to spend a fortune on a chronograph any more.

  My shooting chrony is about 15-17yrs old and still going strong [;)]
  Got a deal on a Chrony Beta Master. Have been using it for about a year now.
  Don't see a need to spend the price on the expencive ones [8]
