I need to buy 2 AR15's. Which ones?
I don't have a ton of money, but am willing to pay for what I get. I need advice on the best AR for the money. I like the M4 style best. What advice can anyone give me?

Check Bud's out. Last time I was over there they were selling DPMS carbines @ $570. Probably the best deal your going to get for new, descent quality AR's. 0 -
Rock river arms carbine. Or, Yankee Hill Machine. 0 -
What are the twist options as 1 in 7 or 1 in 9? 0 -

Bushmaster or dpms. Nothing else comes close to fit, finish, and quality. Either brand will serve you well with little to no problems. Stay away from the shop built rifles with names that no one has ever heard of. Best 0 -

I like DPMS, but Rock River Arms will stand shoulder to shoulder with them, and there ar many more out there that will surpass them both, but with a higher price. For the BEST VALUE, I would go with RRA.
They will like the 69 grain matchloads, in either twist rate, the best, unless you are shooting it single shot, and using the 80 and 90 grain match bullets.

Another vote for Rock River--love mine. 0 -

You don't state what your intended purpose is so it's not likely you'll get much help. Are you asking what BRAND is best or what CONFIGURATION is best. Either way, you're going to get everyones' opinion-sort of like asking which car is best.
I think the M-4 grenade launcher barrel cuts compromise accuracy for nothing more than what someone thinks is cool. For general purposes, I prefer a 16" heavy barrel(not bull) with a collapsible stock. If you intend to do most of your shooting beyond 200 yards, I'd go with a 20"HB and A2 stock. If you flat top of sights depends on your choice of sighting equipment. A flat top with removeable carry handle is much better IMHO than an A2 with a scope added on top.0 -
