Remington Rolling Block
I have acquired an Old Remington Rolling block action from an estate sale. I have two questions: what is something like this worth ( not that great of condition, but can be worked on by a gunsmith ), and since it has a serial# am I able to ship to someones home address or does it need to be shipped to a FFL dealer?

It's an early solid frame Model No. 4 boy's rifle. Most of the later ones were takedown, first with a lever on right side and latest with a large takedown screw on left side.
They were made ca. 1890-1933.0 -

Yup, a #4 .22. I have the M-#4 lever-style take down model as well, only mine is missing the buttplate and screws... which are very difficult to find. 0 -
Are my eyes deceiving me or is the barrel not rifled? Did they come rifled? I would think they would. Or, maybe after 111 years the rifling has worn out. Anyone have one that is? 0 -
From looks of the open breech, it's probably very high mileage and shot out. I don't think Remington ever made a smooth bore version, and if they did it would not have rifle sights. 0
