Can anyone identify an old Gear Shift Knob??
My husband has had this gear shift knob since he was a kid but now he can't remember what it went to. The inside looks threaded brass. In our research we can't seem to find one that has the reverse on the far right and up. Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

IIRC, I had a 1970 Ford F-100, 300 CI Straight 6, four-speed that had that shift pattern layout.

This is pretty much a generic shift knob. The shift pattern with the R at the top right seems to indicate to me that it might be from an import vehicle, but it's been so long, I can't be sure. The vehicle it came from was probably a truck, such as the old Datsun (now Nissan) or Mazda or Chevy LUV (which I think might really have been a Mazda). I say a truck, because the knob is very plain. It could even have been a generic, aftermarket item. 0 -

If I remember correctly it means 'If I Remember Correctly', but I cannot be sure.0 -
Native to a Borg/Warner T-18 4-spd. This gearbox has 6.35:1 unsynchronized 1st gear w/ PTO provisions (my '74 F-370 had the "PTO delete plate" installed). Built like a tank & it's a stump-puller in every respect. 0 -
My 1958 International A-100 pickup has that same pattern. The original knob is long gone, but they did look similar to that one. 0
