marlin 39A Original Golden, serial # added
I need an educated guess on what a New In Box,never fired complete with sleeve and all paperwork Marlin 39A Original Golden is worth. I dont have the serial number yet so I dont know when it was made but I assume within the last year or 2. Old Guy passed away and his kids are selling off all his guns,,this is the only one I was not sure about and cant find where any NIB have been sold to compare. They called and wanted me drive up tomorrow and wanted to be fair

used are going for 350-550 in ex condition. pre safety models bring a little more. i have three,a md. 39a rifle,a 39 mountie carbine both are pre safety,s and a newer safety 39 tds 16.5 inch barrel and with black carry case with paper work. a newer model 39 in the box in new condition, i would think 500-60 retail would not be out of hand.for you to buy it maybe 425-475. no store is going to give them that amount for it. good luck,i think they are the best lever action .22 to be had. eastbank. 0 -
