Colt Hammerless Build date help
A listing on GB has a Colt Hammerless 380 with a serial number
of 128090 stating the Colt Factory was contacted for a build date
and was told 1913. I believe this is in error and should be
1937. I would appreciate a double check by others for the
correct build date.

The Model 1908 Pocket was made 1908-1940, according to S. Fjestad's Blue Book of Gun Values. The SN given would be close to the last year of production for a Type 3.

This .380 was made in 1938.
I thought they had gone over to walnut grips by then, though.0
