Original 1911 sights needed

Purchased a 1913 colt need to replace target sights. Does anybody know a source?

I suggest you check out the auction sites, such as GunBroker, EE Bay, {elsewhere} and perhaps others.

Also, try SARCO, Inc.: www.sarcoinc.com/
You can also call them, as they have a huge stock of material and probably much of it does not appear on their web site or in their print ads, which you can usually find in the the publicaton, The Shotgun News.

Google the search string, without quotation marks and see what comes up:
original colt 1911 parts

There are other sources, which I am sure others will steer you to shortly.

Hello OWEN first off you need to be sure that the target sights were fitted on the slide with the original size dove-tail cut for the read sight and the original size + shape front sight post for the front sight. If the slide has been modified then YOU CANT GO BACK to original sights. If the sight mounting area of the slide is original then get back to me I should have what you need. You can also post on the wanted to buy forum. But again if your slide has been modified it will cost big $$$ to RESTORE the slide and install original type sights. "PRAISE THE HARD-BALL GUN"
