AWB state Ar Build question
hello all, i live in new york state where the AWB did not sunset and want to build a Compliant Ar-15 (no bayo lug, no folding stock and no flash hider/threaded barrel ect...) is it legal to build an AWB compiant Ar-15 on an LEO marked stripped Lower receiver, My buddy who lives in the free state of PA has a stripped colt lower receiver he would trade but before i get jammed up i want to check if its legal. your thoughts?

Yes, it is legal, as long as the lower does not have the machine work done of the M-16. You will also need to make sure that you have a solid stock, or have it pinned, and the same with the muzzle device.

It doesn't matter if it is legal or not, your buddy cannot "trade" it to you, he can only transfer it to you through your local NYS dealer.
I know nothing about NYS law, but your dealer does; he is the one you need to talk to, because he is the one who must know for certain whether or not such a transfer is legal. If you can't find a NYS dealer willing/able to accept it, you are out of luck. It doesn't matter what we think.
