AMT Baby Auto Mag

I am trying to get in touch with an expert on the AMT Baby Auto Mag 22lr. It appears Brian Maynard the gun designer who was in the repair business on AMT Auto Mags sold out his business and vanished several years ago. I am looking for information on how the vented rib on the Baby Mag is bonded to the gun's frame with the objective to remove it for repairs and then reattach it to the frame once again. Any help on this I would sure appreciate.

  I would hope that a highly experienced full service gunsmith (who is a master machinist) should be able to tell you from photos whether or not he could fix your gun.
  
  If it were me, I'd email photos of the gun to someone like Ben Murray, Murray's Gunsmithing, in Bowie, TX & get his opinion.

  Hi Standard has the rights and makes pistols in that design. They have parts, and might be able to help you.
