    My Father passed away and my mother wants all the guns out and in his collection there was a Browning Automatic 5 in it. it was made prior to WWII,it hasnt been fired much since I can remeber. how do I know how much to ask for.DSC01344.jpg

    OK. Just before the economic crash I saw two like this but in 30 inch. One went for $800 at an auction, went I went to chat with the buyer, he had sold it by phone to somebody out of state for $1300.

    The other traded for about $900.

    Ordinarily they went for $450-600 in short lengths and with usage wear.

    So my guess now would be about $800.

    The 32" Browning A5 barrels are very rare, they made one for the magnum and three different ones for the Standard and one for the light 12 A5, the wood on most of the magnums is a bit plain.
