Edit your post and change title to H&R 32 S&W so that H&R collector Jim Hauff will notice it.

    mike 02,
You have a 1st Model PREMIER BICYCLE (black powder only) made in 1904 (the 'A' prefix to serial number was used in that year on the parent model PREMIER). This model was made from 1895 to 1904. It is characterized by a 2" barrel and the barrel rib marking you cited above - no room for much else on the short barrel. It is chambered for the .32 S&W (the short one.) Not many options were available except for 7 x .22 short or long cartridges; and perhaps Mother of Pearl grip panels. It also appears that none of this model were produced with a blue finish. Examples of this early PREMIER BICYCLE are very scarce - I've seen only a small number and only have two in my collection.
Current RETAIL value is fairly high because of scarcity and collectibility of this model:
100%/NIB - $295; 95% - $220; 90% - $180; 80% - $160. These prices may be low as I have not seen any sold in the past two years and therefore have not updated the "Blue Book..." listings. Nice find.

    hrf - thanks!
