Shipping price?

How is it that over on the auction side i see PISTOLS being sold by non FFL holders which i know is legal but they are showing shippi ng "Lower 48" at a set fee of $25 or $30. How are they doing this. I am using the gunbroker discount through FedEx and they want to charge me a heck of a lot more. Can anyone help me out here?

  If they have a 01 FFL ship it for them, it can be shipped by the USPS as priority mail. This is much cheaper then the thieves at FedEx and UPS.

  also there's nothing stopping them from charging less than it costs them.
