Non-Gun ??? Ford Explorer Electrical ???

OK ,,,
Have a 2001 ford explorer : both (2x) cigarette lighter power ports in the center console have stopped working : Cannot find a blow fuse ???
Any Ideas ???

  Okya, okay, let's not start the ford/chevy wars again...:-)
  
  Replace the fuse anyway and see if that helps.
  
  If not, take it into the dealer and have them to fix it. Dismantling your interior can be problematic and your vehicle is old enough that the plastic interior parts may have become brittle and could easily break just taking them apart and reassembling them.
  
  Besides, electrical problems in vehicles can be either very simple(spade connection coming loose) or something else.

  You did find the fuse marked dome/acc/int, and found it to be intact...am I correct in that assumption?
  
  Is there an elect. schematic in the back of the owner's manual?
  
  If you havn't found the fuse marked lighter/dome/acc....etc, then the search isn't over yet. Good luck! Joe

  You have a blown fuse. The cigarette Power port takes a Higher AMP fuse normally 30 AMP then a 10 amp dome light. if you can't fine the correct fuse take it to the shop Dont make problem worst by tearing apart things.

  my wifes 1994 explorer had an inline fuse (about 6 inches from the lighter socket) in addition to the fuse in the main panel. don't know if yours would have it, but worth a look.
