UPS and "Gun Parts"
Just shipped a gun stock via UPS and because the description had the word gun in it they charged me for signature required. I called them and complained, they said if the description has the word gun in it, they require a signature, is that a rip off or what! Even it is only a gun screw, the word gun "requires" them to get a signature!! Leason learned; never use the word gun.

You really can't get much done talking to clerks who don't understand company policy. You needed to say the magic words, "May I please speak to a manager?"

Description?.Who puts in descriptions when shipping by UPS..Ive sent hundreds of packages and never even remember seeing a place for a description..Maybe unless its International? 0 -
No, it has nothing to do with international. What it is totally about, is the non- firearms friendly and policies of many shipping carrier's, and/or many of their personnel. This includes all of the big 3 shipping carrier's, UPS, Fed-Ex, and USPS. When that happen's, remain calm, and ask to speak to their supervisor. If they refuse, then assure them, that in some point in time, you are going to talk to their supervisor, and this time it will be about their employment.
