Browning A 5 compensator?

Hi, I have a browning a 5 that has a bulge at the end of the barrel. I also have another old shotgun that has a cutts compensator and c-lect choke. could I but the compensator on the Browning?
I know that the browning operates off or recoil. Would the compensator reduce the recoil too much.

  The Cutts compensator should work on the Auto 5 but I believe having the barrel cut off and screw in chokes installed would be a better solution. There may not be enough metal in the barrel to allow for installation of the screw in chokes. A gunsmith should be able to tell you.

  Another popular option is a polychoke. I have seen many A5's with open bores, that have had a poly choke installed. They are a lot quicker to adjust than screw in chokes.
