Winchester 1892 questions

Hello,

Recently i was at my parents cleaning out the house in preperation for a move and came across a Winchester 1892 25-20 WCF and serial number of 795294.

I have a couple questions, what is the value of it? It has soem tarnishing but it is in fair to good shape. Also, I would like to have it refinished and the trigge mechanism overhauled and brought back to like new condition.

  I just acquired a Winchester 1892 38 WCF takedown and have a few questions. The serial number is in the 777000 range, has a 24" round barrel, and the straight stock has a crescent buttplate but does not have the return toe as most I've seen. Under the plate stamped in the wood is the number 4. I assume it's a rifle and would like to know some history, especially with regards to the buttplate

  It sound like it has a standard crescent butt plate... can you post a picture of it?
  
  The 24-inch barrel identifies it as a Sporting Rifle versus a Carbine.
