460 XVR

Went shooting this weekend and the cylinder on the outside appears to have burnt powder on it. I have scrubbed it with everything I can think of without success. Anyone else have this problen with the stainless 460's. Help!!!![:D]

  Try Mr Clean Magic Eraser. Its a foam like pad that works wonders. Will not harm or scratch the stainless steel. I had used it on other thing than guns and my son asked me what would remove the black powder stain on his 454 stainless revolver. We tried it and it worked excellently. He's been using it on all his revolvers for over a year now. It will even erase writting on steel from a permanent marker.

  Flitz will make it look like new. I been using it on SS cylinder faces for years, makes the black ring around the chamber mouths just about disappear.
