Star Model A mags?
who has Star Model A mags? i have a star Model A (not model A super)
i have 1 mag that came with the gun
i also have 2 mags that i bought that were for the gun but required much fitting to make work and wont load the 9mm largo surp ammo i have very well,
this is the mag i have right now http://e-sarcoinc.com/rpm-star-modela38super38calibermag.aspx although i think they could be mags ment for a 1911 in 9mm though, but they can work some what
there is also some star model A super mags. http://e-sarcoinc.com/rpm-starsuper9mmlargomagazine.aspx
if anyone can help it would be much appreciated because i would like a few more mags for taking out shooting and such.

Not surprising that your having so much trouble with Star Model A magazines. Triple K lists no less then 4 different versions of the Model A mag on their site.
This link is to their site, see if you can figure out from the information and sketches they provide, which is the correct mag for your pistol.

Would the star model a super mags I posted work? Ie the 2end link? 0 -
Colt Super 38 mags should work if takes the recessed mag. 0 -
mine takes the recesed mags, now i have a question, would the mags listed for this still work? http://www.triplek.com/Products/id/38/grp/412/prd/1203/ i would like to get a few mags that look like that, but would work in my gun. if i had to so some minor fitting i would be ok with it.
becuse the OAL is .1 in longer.
anyone got any links to some cheep colt 38 super mags. if i could get one for under 20 i would be willing to give it a try.0 -
yeah i think what i have now besides my OEM one are for the post 1946 pistols,
and i know i had some fitting to do to it,
my only big grip is that it wont load the 9mm largo ezly, the fitting i had to do wasn't realy alot.
dose anyone have any suggestions on to how to modify the mag so the rounds fit better? its a length issue with them. i have tryed but i haven't had much success. i can load them if i use something to push each round down with something in order to place the next in, and i have only gotten about 6-7 out of the max of 8.
btw thank you for the link Trap55, there was some good pictures in there that helped ID the mags better0 -
The one I have are post 1946 but that have been modded to pre 1946 style
I have a 9mm largo star,
I would like to get a model B in 9mm Luger.0
