For sale on GB. Serial number 7762. Claims FIRST YEAR production. IS THIS FIRST YEAR? Thanks.

  No, it is not. Number 7762 was serialized in January of 1893, and it was received in the warehouse as a completely assembled 32 WCF Sporting Rifle in February of 1893.
