Winchester Model 12, 12 ga, solid rib, full choke, S/n 955285, plain stock. DOM please.
Government contract?

Ok I got same thing but wondered if blue book was correct. I know the experts here say blue book is usually off on Winchester DOM's..

The Blue Book is in error... early 1924 is the correct DOM.

My personal belief is that the stocks are not original to that gun. The came off of a later production gun.

Those stocks came off a trap grade, or something similar. They didn't originaly come on that gun.
