    In practical terms the main advantage of both is an improved method of retaining the cylinder pin. The style of each with the octagon barrel & the grips may be more attractive to some.
    The MSRP does kind of take your breath away though.

    Yes, that price is a little scary. I would like to have a Ranger but since they are out of production the price is out of sight. Thanks.

    I have been looking at these since they first came out. I have no earthly need for one but I have always found these small .22's interesting and this one looks like somethig you could actualy shoot and hit somethint with. Been looking for .22 LR but apparently the only way to get this is to buy the combo. A dealer I buy from occasionaly has one in .22 Mag but I would want the combo. They are on the pricey side for what they are.
