  Fired a basic R1 a few weeks ago, & was impressed. It ate all kinds of ammo without a problem, including my SWC reloads. Accuracy was excellent, likely because of close bushing/barrel tolerances; they include a bushing wrench, which you really do need.
  
  Finish was a black semi-matte, &, for a gun that hadn't been used much, showed handling marks which makes me questions how long it will hold up.
