Yes Federal is stillmaking paper shotshells but i think only in 12 ga. Check with some of the trap ranges about once fired empty's. Trapshooters love them. 0 -

Best.
Found Premium Gold in Midway but it did't say if it was paper or not. Any other sources? Thanks everybody.0 -
Try searching for "federal hulls" on the auction side. 0 -
Try Gamaliel shooting supply in kentucky .
They are one of the biggest shotshell suppliers in the US .
They have the concession at the Grand each year .0 -
I found hulls and ammo on the auction side. Don't know why I didn't think of that, brain dead I guess. Gamaliel had ammo too, good price. Thanks everybody. 0 -
One more question, can a fired paper casing be changed to a roll crimp or does it have to have the same star crimp as the original? Thanks. 0 -
The short answer is "yes".
You would find it necessary to trim the case to a point that is about 3/16 inch above the top (overshot) wad. To determine that point requires the shell be loaded with powder and wading (card or plastic)and then the shotcharge and overshot wad. A good roll requires about 3/16 inch of "extra" case.0 -

Thanks. I see from another post that Ballistic Products has the tools.0 -

If your going to roll crimp shotshells, forget the idea you can do it correctly with a hand drill. Use a drill press and run it on the SLOWEST speed. It takes very little pressure to form the crimp. It's done mostly by "feel".0
