Savage Model 93 .22 WMR??
I saw a Savage .22 WMR for sale at Dicks Sporting Goods with scope for $249. It has a fluted bull barrel, accu trigger and an OD green synthetic stock. I cannot find any info on Savages website or any other about this gun. It also said on the barrel "made in Canada".
Any info much appreciated.

edit- my question is, when did Savage start importing Canadian made guns and are they as good as the American made Savage rifles?

Pretty common gun. BUT the fluted bull barrel threw me for a loop???? Are you sure???
Made in Canada is on a lot of them. No worries0 -
Definitely a fluted bull barrel. Straight flutes, not spiral. I have not seen any like it and no info avalailable that I can find online.

Savage started importing their rimfire arms around a decade or so ago, when the acquired Lakefield Arms. Yes, they are made in Canada, and seem to be half way decent.

It is a Dick's exclusive which is why it will not show up in a Savage catalog or website. That is a good price for a package gun. 0 -
i have seen them other forum members seem to like them 0 -
Have not seen that one, but my 93 is the camo package with Bushnell scope. It will put 5 in a dime at 100 yards if I do my part. I would say buy it. 0
