S&W ??? Question ???

Has anybody seen a Old (K Frame) Smith 32-20 in average cond. with NO Markings except the SN# ???
A First for me !
If I could figure out how , I would post pics ?

S&W was very proud of their brand- the "Marcus Registrada" was added due to Spanish counterfeits of their guns. If it does not say S&W on your revolver, it is likely NOT a S&W, but one of the "clones". Look closely for Spanish proof marks.

could be a spanish copy. at first glance they look very similar. look at the star extractor that is usually a good tell. by the way, the early spanish copies are very poor quality

can you post good photos to the site or email direct. it could be that it has been refinished and the markings polished off. the emblems especially go away easy.
