American Arms M88/ TT-33 in 9 para
So I dove in and bought a TTC, and now I'm thinking about dropping my .38 revolver and my P-38 (c. 1944). But as much as I love the ride on the Tok round, I'm reluctant to dump 9mm altogether.
Then, I saw this auction item for a "TT-33" manufactured in 9mm?! I thought the only thing a guy wanted out of Yugoslavia was a folksdeutsche blonde desperate for the West! Their car was a joke and they couldn't keep their country together... heck, they had to add a round to their TT-33/ M57 just to feel safe.
Should I bother?

Back in the late 1980s American Arms imported the Yugoslavian made TT33 along with the Yugo AKM rifles produced at Zastava (the same folks who make the car you say you don't like). The pistols were made made of heavy steel with a commercial grade finish but they exhibited all of the typical poor characteristics of the design, which include nearly useless sights, awkward handing and a terrible trigger. Although they would work in a pinch, the Yugo TTs are not really suitable for carry or self defence.0 -

Yeah, it does kinda feel like you need a little "Yoda and the Force" to get past the crappy sights on a shot with any yardage. So if there's no improvement over the original, then there's no use to get it in a 9mm.0
