    The current Blue Book says a 70% Superposed from 1960-1976 is worth $825. They go by receiver finish, 95% on the barrels does not signify.

    No doubt somebody will tell you to look on the auction site for actual sales which will give a better idea of true value than a book.

    Yes, the O/U markings under the safety indcate which barrel is selected to fire first.

    Note: The changeover is by recoil, you cannot dryfire both barrels click, click. You can bump the butt on the floor to simulate recoil or you can run the safety on and off (you don't have to change sides, just on-off.) I guess the latter would be of use if you had a misfire on a rapidly departing pheasant. The former would let you know that the system was working and not panic because it went click, nothing.

    Thank you so much for that information on how to change the barrels in case of misfire. I knew it was recoil operated but did not know about clicking the safety to change them.
