BROWNING'S PATENT DEPOSE / Nazi proof marks ( swastika's )

+ WaA140 all serial#'s match. Very good condition has FN magazine.

Looking to find history/information/pricing. No import marking.

  When the Germans invaded and occupied Belgium in 1940 they took over the FN factory. The Model 1922, FN Browning pistol in .32 caliber was kept in production during the German occupation. This was between 1940 and 1944. I don't have the exact figure, but over 100,000 were made specifically for the Germans and have their military acceptance markings. Because of this they are among the most common of the W W II pistols found with German markings.
  
  Since they are common guns factory orginality and cosmetic condition have a very large factor in their value. Sight unseen per your description, my WAG it would be in the $200-$350 range.

  Around here in VG shape they run up to about $400 for a Nazi marked one. I got mine for $150 but it is a real beater, good bore though.

  Sniperxx......thanks for your question. This Belgium M1922 is one of the most common of the Nazi occupation weapons. When the Germans overran the FN factory they kept the production going strong, and between 1940 and September, 1944 when the factory was liberated, over 360,000 of the M1922 were produce for German military consumption. It was a popular sidearm of the German army and other forces. Your WaA140 was the most common waffen marked of all. Could tell you more with photos concerning value and actually when the weapon was made. Hope this helps[:)]
