Springfield Armory Double Stack 1911

I have a friend who has a Springfield Armory 1911 .45 that takes a double stack mag. Is there a source for getting spare mags? The SA web site shows nothing. Would an older Para Ordnance double stack .45 mag work?

  I think you may be mistaken about the model designation. The 1911 does not take a double stack magazine.

  When I made reference to Springfield Armory double stack 1911 I was refering to a model the civilian (private company) Springfield Armory produced. It was made about 10 years ago. Anyway, what my friend is looking for are some spare double stack .45 mags (13 round I think).
  
  Any help would be appreciated.
