Mannlicher Scopes

Does anyone know who made the Mannlicher scopes? They were sold by Steyr Mannlicher when the importer was in Grand Rapids.

I recently acquired a Steyr Mannlicher Model L in 22-250 with full stock, Steyr mounts, and a Mannlicher 2x-7x scope. The scope is very clear and tight; it appears to be excellent quality. The reticle is a very "European" looking duplex crosshair.

I'd like to know the name of the company that actually manufactured the scope.
